I really liked the color coming off of the barber chair, with the blacks and oranges, and when i found the door, i thought they would look good together. I Took the Chair picture very close and then stood back from the door to make sure the handle was in focus and the lower part was out.

We all know how tricky the weather was, but I think the colors were brought out because of the fickle weather. With the Outside photo, i Metered to the sky, and then made sure i would take a picture with brackets, and then shot. With hotel Bannack, i again did the brackets, but metered on the Hotel itself. I liked the oranges and reds coming off of the building with the contrast of blues and whites

I liked the contrast in all of these pictures. With the Pano, I hiked up the Hill behind the street, and started taking pictures, and realized that a pano would be great from that spot. I enhanced the colors coming off the car to what I think was the original color, and I wouldnt mind restoring the car to its former glory! The wagon and shed i didnt enhance the blue at all, so i think i had a great window to the sky, and it gave good contrast to the yellows and blacks.

I enjoyed taking these pictures, expecially the freeze. Max was walking down the street and with his hat, looked like something that would be on a photography magizine, so i took the photo, and this is what turned out. I edited it so the edges are darkened and the blacks pop out more.

I was amazed with the quality of the glass that was in the buildings. It was imperfect, and they are original, which is beautiful! The frames are no less stunning, so i thought i would get a picture through the windows, like someone who was staying at the hotel would see when they woke up in the morning.

Bannack had quite a bit of blacks and oranges and blacks throughout the town, and were great contrast for the portraits. The pictures were fun to edit as well, Itried to enhance mostly natural beauty. No blemishes or imperfections were changed, just the backgrounds.

I really enjoyed taking these pictures and learning how to do them. For the firework picture, I went to fatcats and set the shutter speed very low and sat there in my car and took the picture. at first, i didn't want to be shaky, but i really liked the outcome. sitting there for 30 sec not moving turned out bad, but the outcome is better than i expected.

With the Dizzy picture, i set the shutter speed to 6 sec and used a LED flashlight we have, and when the shutter opened, i started from far back and walked forward swinging the flashlight around, getting closer to the lens. The flashlight is red, and i really liked how around the edges of the light you can see it

i really liked learning how to make my signature into a brush.I took a piece of paper, signed it with a black marker,and then scanned my signature, brought it into Photoshop and then pushed Select All and went into Edit- brush preset. I was hesitant at first, but when it worked out, i was very impressed.

To make the Fine Art Template I cut out 5 rectangles from a background. I wanted it to look uniform, so i created a stroke boarder around the rectangles. With the fish, I wanted to see them pop out of the picture, so I erased the template in spots to make them come out.

I really liked how The edges make the picture pop out. My Favorites are the cupcake and the Guitar. The guitar because i was able to erase part of the border and make the stem visable, like it was 3D, and the cupcake becasue when I darkened up the edges, it gave me all types of reds that accent the picture

Scanography

I am Amazed with the clarity of the pictures, and that the focus is never lost. I used Photoshop to create a design using only what I scanned and I think it turned out great! I also have a box of things from my mission, and decided to see what that looks like on the scanner, and I am in awe of what turned out. My wife wants me to print out a larger one so nothing else will clutter up the apartment.

With this picture, I was able to find a picture that was better lit, and color matched it to the original. It was diffucult not to wash my wife out, but I think that it is better lit now.

I really liked doing this picture, and I never before thought It was possible. Basicly I opened the picture in Raw, lightened the picture, then opened it in photoshop and used adjustments-color replace. My wife also liked it. We were able to put her in colors she normally dosent wear. I was also able to change the color of her hair, but we decided to leave it normal in this one

My wife is the most beautiful person I have ever met, and this project was fun to do. She had a few blemishes on her skin that I removed, whitened her teeth some, and darkened the color of her hair back to its original color.

I struggled more with these portraits, but I am very excited about the outcome of some of them. I decided that I need to take pictures of my family, and sence I dont have anyone to take pictures for me, i used a timer and took a picture for myself. I enhanced the color of the couch and toned down the wall behind us.

For the RAW edit I decided to use a picture that i had just taken trying to sell and iPhone. I opened up the picture in Adobe Bridge and opened the file in raw and thought that it looked bland. I didn't even notice until i was editing the photo that my Daughters crayons were on the desk and ultimately in the shot, but I think it gives good contrast. I changed some of the black levels, as well as enhanced the colors luminosity.

I had to go to Twin Falls over the weekend and almost forgot my camera, but about 30 seconds before leaving i remembered and grabed it, and im glad that I did. This picture was taken just outside Kimberly Idaho, And i really liked the view from the senic lookout.

For the picture "Walk your own way",i converted to a smart object and then added a hue and saturation layer to darken it up. i then added a mosaic tiles filter. I then used a mask to take the closer goose out of what i applied, and then made it to size.

For the berries photograph, I added a hue/saturation adjustment layer. i wanted to change the color of the berries, but i didn't want to compromise the color of the branches or forget any of the berries, so I just changed the saturation level of the whole picture.

I really liked this assignment. I found myself driving down the road looking for things to take pictures of. With the trees covered in snow, i couldnt help but think how beautiful it really was, and then i remembered that we had a duck pond here in Rexburg, i ventured out to see what was there. both the Flora and Fauna i took pictures of made it on my blog. It was difficult to take pictures of the ducks and geese, so i found myself turning up the shutter speed.

I really enjoyed looking for colors in Rexburg, and I found yellow to be very contrast to the white of the snow thats on the ground

I Have taken all of these Photos with my iPhone. I havent been much for picking up a camera and taking photos, but i understand the importance. I really like to take shots of landscapes and People. The landscapes mostly for their natural beauty. It reminds me that God really created everything. I enjoy taking photos of people becasue naturally, they are beauty in all its form.
